in response to JoeyBaer's recent vlog, I share a bit of my journey after graduation from Gallaudet to working with ASL and eventually appreciating the concepts behind Deafhood as coined by Paddy Ladd.

A person who embraces ASL as their primary language will be considered a
member of the Deaf community. I find many deaf friends on a Deaf dating
site ----Deafornot dot c om---- Good luck to them!!!

Ella, I really enjoyed watching your vlog very much I admit I did recognized you on the interviewing video because of your facial expressions before Joey mentioned your name. Wow! I'm impressed. Your goals don't change at all since 1977. Glad that Joey brought it up in his vlog That's amazing. Thanks for telling us your story of your experiences in your early years. That means a lot to us.

It really is amazing how our experiences shape where we are now. I have a similar story about how my different work experiences and personal experiences have led me to where I am today in my thinking. I'm sure many of us can say the same thing.

Hi Ella!

A very interesting story. I did not know that you four have worked together, Grosjean, Lane, Phillip and you. I have heard many nice things about Marie Philip but have unfortunately never had the opportunity to meet her. After your story I become more curious about her. Is not much to ask you to tell us more about her?
